Jim began his career in the HVAC Business in 1978 as a Factory Service Rep with York. He held several Service Manager and Sales Positions with York and Trane before starting Foothills Mechanical Service in 2005. With 40+ years in the Heating and Cooling Business, Jim is now semi-retired and serves as a business advisor and technical support for our crew.

For over 13 years Doug has been working in Heating and Air Conditioning. He is a Maryville Highschool graduate, class of 1998, and has an Associate’s of Science. Working alongside Jim Hafer as his Lead Technician he gained experience in the HVAC field, and became an important part of his team. When Jim retired in 2017 Doug and Jamie purchased the business and kept the family legacy going. Doug is extremely knowledgeable in almost any HVAC system. Doug and Jamie hold their values high and hope to continue to run a hometown family business.

Part owner of the business Jamie Wilson is the daughter of the Founder, Jim Hafer. Having graduated Maryville Highschool in 2006 Jamie knew that she wanted to pursue a career in business. After taking a break when becoming a new mom, she joined the family business and trained to take over the business side. Jamie loves to spend time with her family and absolutely adores her French Bulldogs, Frenchie and Luna. Jamie and Doug work together as a team to run Foothills Mechanical Service, they strive to make every customer feel like their neighbor!

Tyler has been a valued technician with Foothills Mechanical Service, LLC for two years. He graduated from Arlington Career Institute, with a focus in HVAC. Tylar served in the Navy as an Ordinance Technician for 5 years! He is EPA certified and has 3 years’ experience in the HVAC service and installation field. In his off time, Tylar enjoys spending time with family, friends, and playing with his dog. He also enjoys going to concerts and traveling.

Abraham has been with Foothills Mechanical Service, LLC for just over a year. As a graduate of Carter Highschool, class of 2017, Abraham decided on a career in the Heating and Cooling field. He is EPA Universally certified. He is experienced in installations and service work on most units. On his off-time Abraham enjoys spending time at his church and playing sports or spending time with his soon to be wife, Laiken.

A recent graduate of Greenback School, class of 2021, Walker Tillman is continuing his experience in the Heating and Air Conditioning field. Walker attends First Baptist Church Lenoir City and is an active member of their college group! He enjoys spending time with friends and family, and learning about HVAC. Walker looks forward to a career in HVAC as a technician and installer!
